Google announced that it has granted a $20 million advertising subsidy to help financial institutions, NGOs, and SMEs, especially regarding assistance and other resources.

According to the announcement, a $200 million investment fund has also been allocated to support small and medium-sized enterprises by NGOs and banks. Under this investment fund, Google is collaborating with the Opportunity Finance Network in the U.S. This initiative aims to close the financial gaps of people and communities underserved by major financial institutions. It is also worth recalling that the company previously provided a $15 million cash grant to non-profit organizations via Google.org to help close the gaps faced by SMEs.

To support SMEs, Google has allocated a total of $340 million in Google Ads credits to all SMEs with accounts established before 2020. SMEs can see the allocated credits as notifications in their Google Ads accounts. The credits can be used on Google's advertising platforms until the end of 2020.
